Review: I was excited to receive a sandwich bag and snack sized bag from ReUsies.  I try to be as frugal and environmentally friendly minded as I can.  These reusable bags give me an even better reason, they are simply adorable!  Have you ever thought about how many plastic sandwich/snack bags you go through, in a day, a month or a year?  If you have kids in school or regularly pack a lunch for work this number may surprise you.  I'm glad I learned about ReUsies when I did, before my kids started school.  If I can get into the habit of using them know I won't even have to think about it later.  They are made out of fabric so you could probably write your child's name in permanent marker or add a washable label (probably the iron on kind).  I added my sons name right under the flap so it's out of the way but still marked.

My son is old enough that he can carry around his bag and I don't fear he might dumb it out.  It's great for car trips, I can fill it up and he can snack all the way.  Not to mention he loves the airplanes on his.  I love that the ReUsies can be cleaned multiple ways.  You can hand wash and let it air dry, you can run it through the dishwasher or my favorite, clean them in the washing machine/dryer.  This is great because when your traveling you don't always have access to a dishwasher or laundry facilities. 


There are tons of stylish patterns available for your ReUsies.  They aren't just for kids either, there are plenty of patterns/solid ReUsies that one can easily slip in their purse or store in the briefcase.  The only problem I see is that somewhere along the line someone is going to throw it away or leave it somewhere.  I guess that's a good excuse to pick up another one!  Be sure and keep up with them on Facebook , twitter , the ReUsies blog and their newsletter .
