Tip of the Day: Ripen an Avocado Fast
If you have an avocado that isn’t quite ripe enough for your recipe you can ripen it in 12-24 hours if you put it in an air tight container with an banana peel. The peel releases ethylene which is a natural gas that will promote ripening. Your avocado will be ripe and ready to use.
