Also includes 500gb LTE data "for life" from Freedompop ...yes there's lots of negative press about this company, but you can cancel the service and just use the router without backup LTE. They will sign you up for their monthly service, but you can cancel it before the end of the 30-day trial.

Extremely negative review: http://s.co.tt/2014/08/25/netgear-lg-6100d-lte-gateway-for-sprin... however that is almost 2 years old, and Netgear has updated the firmware several times since then. When this was reviewed it was $189 and he was using it for home LTE internet service. IMHO for $30 shipped it's a pretty good deal for an802.11ac Wi-Fi and Gigabit Ethernet Router, and you can cancel the Freedompop service if you want.
Currently no third party firmware I can find such a DD-WRT, Tomato, OpenWRT but I'm hoping that as the sell off for $30 that will change.
